Holy, Aerith - FF7

Second and secondmost, if Autumn-Sacura is reading this right now, I just want to say that I love you and your linearts, heh. This is the second one of your linearts I've colored, and they are just perfect. So strong and sharp and so detailed, that it just makes coloring it so easy and engaging.

The whole reason I took up this pick is because I was actually more enchanted by the sunset/ocean than I was by it being Aerith. I wanted the challenge of coloring that, and with some help from a photo I found on Google images, I think I pretty much did a fine job of kicking the crap out of it.

I think I found a pretty good balance between the coloring and burn tool on Aerith's hair as well to give it a good look for the twilight lighting in the background plus the mix of the glow coming off of Holy.

I'm kind of upset at how that whole lighting effect on the materia turned out. I toyed with it and couldn't get it to turn out the way I wanted exactly, so this turned out to be as good as I could. Thanks to those lighting brushes I downloaded way back when from somewhere.
